Current Jam:"Nothing Right Now :-("

Muy Caliente
12.30.04 (7:44 pm)   [edit]

“That means good.” I’m watching Reba. Van is hot. Except for that earring. I don’t like earrings that much. I’d carry the “Mini-Van”. Heehee. I bought “Saved By The Bell: The College Years” and “Napoleon Dynamite” at Best Buy. My sis and I watched “Napoleon Dynamite” the other night. It was interesting to say the least. My sis does a kick-ass impression of Kip. I’d date Napoleon Dynamite based on his name alone. People would say, “Who’s your boyfriend?“ and then I’d say, “Napoleon, Napoleon Dynamite”. Everyone would be so jealous. I have a sneaky plan that I can’t really discuss here and now but if I pull it off I’ll fill you in with all the juicy details. It ought to be fun. I’m hungry. And cold. And tired. I think I should go to bed soon. I’ll probably just pass out typing on my laptop. Tomorrow is going to be a day full of cleaning in preparation for the New Year’s Eve Jam. I’m excited about the New Year and I’m sure it’s gonna be great. I’m going to be ringing it in with my friends. I have a headache. I’m gonna go get on a sweatshirt and look for something to eat. I should have blow-dried my hair before I left the house. That’s probably part of the reason I feel cold. Mmm, a warm sweatshirt and some cheese and crackers. I wish I had some tea to make. I sorta wanna get drunk tonight, but I don’t think I will. Last night I went out Hookah-ing. I hadn’t been in forever. Afterwards we went walking the streets of PB. These silly guys started talking to me. We started talking about “Harry Potter” because of my HP jacket. His name was Josh and he told me he loved me. It was pretty funny. “You want me to sign a permission slip for bigamy!?” Reba is so freakin’ awesome! I want some chocolate. Ooooh, I want some mashed potatoes. Then again, I can always go for potatoes. I love how dads protect their daughters. It’s so cute. The dog always attacks me when I’m trying to relax. Now I want some pie. The list of wants is endless.

You Were Nice This Year!

You're an uber-perfect person who is on the top of Santa's list.
You probably didn't even *think* any naughty thoughts this year.
Unless you're a Mormon, you've probably been a little too good.
Is that extra candy cane worth being a sweetheart for 365 days straight?

"Can I Get You Ladies Anything To Drink?
12.26.04 (6:17 pm)   [edit]

...I mean lady and gentleman, sorry." Godbless Denny's waitresses. Ah, the wonderfully lazy day after Christmas. This blog is coming to you directly from my brand new laptop! ::Snuggle:: My parents gave it to me for Christmas. This Christmas was definitely different than any in the past. It wasn't bad or anything...just different. My sister got me the first seasons of "Reba" and "The Newlyweds". I'm so excited. Bobby got me The Vampire Chronicles, The Picture of Dorian Gray, a poem and a song. The poem is so awesome. I was nearly in tears. I can't actually believe that someone would spend all of that time to write something that beautiful for me. Bobby stayed with me last night because we were both going to be alone. What's the fun in that? We watched "Grind"...Well most of it anywayz. Then we talked and listened to music in the dark before drifting off to sleep. On Christmas Eve, my family and I went to go see "A Christmas Carol" at the Lyceum in Horton Plaza. It was great like last year. I like this tradition. I got to use the new purse Maria bought me. Thanks doll! It's cool cause it has a long strap so I can carry it across my chest because I am not good at remembering purses, so I never use them. But maybe that's why I never remember them because I never carry them. See, it's a vicious never ending circle. On Tuesday night TeLina and I went to "Lestat's West" to see Eric Schwartz do his stand up comedy act. "Smooth-E", as he likes to be called, is absolutely hilarious. I first heard about him after hearing the "Hanukkah Hey Ya" on 91X. I logged on to his website, (SuburbanHomeboy.com, the link is listed on the left hand side of this blog) and saw he was doing a show in the area. We went to go see him and his stand up is just as funny (if not funnier) than the song. I think I wrote about it in February of this year. Later I saw him at Lestat's. When I heard he was going to be there again, I knew I had to go see him. He had lots of new material and he even remembered me from the other shows. What a sweetie. I gave him a stuffed Hanukkah Lion named Ari. He put it on stage with him and let the whole audience know that I brought it for him. I'm glad he couldn't see me blushing. He told us to wait up after the show and we talked for quite a while about all sorts of stuff. We got to hear a song he's thinking about putting out and he even rapped part of my favorite song. I had the song up on this blog before and I think I might put it up again since Christmas is over. It's called "Smooth Operator". Listen for it or check out some other songs he has on his website.
<-------- Remember the link's just over there.
Oh yeah, my hair is now Vampire Red. I like it. I curled it for the theater and it was super springy so we out it up in 2 pigtails. I was compared to Annie, a Fraggle, a Fry Kid, a Cabbage Patch Doll, a character Carol Burnett used to do, one of the 3 Stooges, and god knows what else. I liked it after the shock wave passed. I took some pics of it and if any of them came out ok I'll put them up. Well, I think that's it for now. The next post will probably be about New Year's Eve or something of that nature.

"I Don't Look Like Too Much Ass, Do I?
12.13.04 (12:27 pm)   [edit]

...At least it's cute ass." I'm at school yet again. I came in for a chem review. My stomach was hurting so I drove down and paid to park. I have another hour left on my parking pass and I'm gonna use some of it dammit! I don't feel that great about my chem final. I think Thursday's half is going to be pretty hard. I heard the first half is really easy. It's conversions and knowing how to read the periodic table. I think I need to review my s, p, d, and f orbitals though. Those pesky electrons, protons, and neutrons. Good golly. This weekend was pretty fun. There was an awesome party Friday night. Weird stuff happened...Lots of weird stuff. "There's a half-naked Russian chick that peed in my bed and threw up in my shower!" Ah, good times, good times. The waves were beautiful at the beach on Saturday. There were tons of surfers out in their wet suits. I didn't see anybody have to get rescued though which was good. The rest of Saturday was super lazy. Took a nap and at night watched "Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring". Well most of it anywayz. It was on tv so it was even longer than it had to be. Frodo is so hot! He has such gorgeous eyes too. ::Sigh:: I fell asleep right around the end and I woke up and TNT had started it all over again. I got up to drive home and it was so foggy I almost stayed over again because I didn't really feel like driving in it. I made it though, safe and sound. Last night I watched the Family Channel's new original movie "Snow". It was pretty good. I probably should have been studying, but oh well. I still need to go Christmas shopping for a few people. I have no idea when I'll get the time. I think we're watching "Elf" as a family tonight. Yet again, putting off the studying. I heard I might even be going to see "Ocean's Twelve" on Wednesday. That's cause all of my friends are already out of school for the Holidays. I'm tired. I think I'm going to go home and make myself some tea to drink while I'm studying...Yeah right.

Busy, Busy, Busy
12.07.04 (5:48 am)   [edit]

I'm tired. I stayed up late sewing something for my sister. It was time consuming and a little difficult. It's crunch time at school and I'm trying to do everything I can not to study. That's so dumb. I don't have to worry about my PE class anymore because all of my assignments are already done, but that still leaves Humanities, English, and Chem (both the lecture and the lab). The hardest one I think is going to be my Chem final. Sometimes I just don't get it. Other times he goes on for the whole lecture about something I got in the first five minutes! This sucks. Bobby and I watched 2 movies Friday night. There was this one called "Shelter Island" with Ally Sheedy in it. That was weird. She played this lesbian pro-golfer/ visualizational-motivatio nal(?) speaker. That alone was pretty crazy. After that we watched Shrek 2. That was funny. I don't really know what my favorite part is...It's all good. We were supposed to be getting drunk, but I didn't drink that much and ended up going to sleep. After all, I had to babysit in the morning. My original plan (as you know) was to take them to see Polar Express. The only problem with that is, none of the showings even began until my babysitting gig was going to end. It would have interfered with nap/quiet time. Instead, Bobby and I took the kids to the Build-A-Bear Workshop in Fashion Valley. The kids had a blast. These animals are going to be their Christmas gifts from me. We ended up with a Beagle named Buddy, a Poodle named Dana, and a Bear named Tiger! They are adorable. It was a little expensive, but they're worth it...Most of the time. I can't even remember what happened on Sunday. I know, I drove my sister to church, bought my mom the other thing we are getting her for Christmas, brought something back to the store, returned my videos to Blockbuster, picked up my sister, got hit on by the guy at El Co, went home, ate, took a nap (sorta), tried to watch Big In 04, but it sucked, and then went to bed. Not an awesomely fun day, but I got all that I needed to accomplish done. I need to start gathering up the stuff that I bought for people and wrapping it so I know who I do and don't have gifts for. I don't even know what I want for Christmas and I'm busy asking people what they want. I'm excited about shopping for some people. Others...Not so much. I'm having a hard time deciding what to get for people. I want to come up with a perfect gift. It's not that I can't just buy them any old thing, but I want it to be special. Any ideas for perfect gifts? I don't mind making something, but it can't be something that I needed to start a couple months ago because now I don't have that kind of time. In fact, until school gets out next Friday, I don't have much time at all. So think of something that I can do in a week or less. Preferably less because I have more than one person to think about.

Paris Hilton Is Not The Biggest Whore
12.02.04 (5:28 am)   [edit]
Mr. Slave is. That's what I learned from watching South Park last night. It was nice to get back into the swing of things and just chill. Looks like Friday night is going to be a drunken night for the first time in like a month! It's even hard for me to believe it's been that long. But we gotta drink early cause I have a 9 am babysitting gig Saturday morning. I think I'm going to take them to see Polar Express. I hope the youngest will be able to sit through it. I'll have to buy them popcorn and lemonade to keep them preoccupied. I'm sure they'll love it...The older 2 anywayz. My sis and I have been having so much fun lately it's 'ricockulous'. The other night we stayed up til 2 am laughing about nothing in particular. I'm supposed to be doing some reading for my Humanities class so I should go. Talk to y'all later!
